I spent a long time as a teenager trying to find 'me'; trying to find my style, how I liked my make-up, my music taste, who I was as a person. It was really frustrating because each time I thought I had it locked down I'd find a new band or discover a new era that fascinated me and everything changed again. It wasn't until relatively recently that I realised that I don't ever need to find one style and call it my own. I find new make up artists and designers every week that inspire me and my choices. I learn about different points in history and how style has changed through each decade that inspires me and whatever it is that really reaches out to me that day is my style and is me. Example, when I'm doing my face I'll never out and out copy a make up artist (most of the time it's way too much for day to day) but I'll incorporate their technique or favourite colour scheme; a little piece of whatever makes them so special. What I'm trying to say is if you have found 'you' and have a particular look, fucking rock it but don't get pissed off if your style or who you are doesn't fit in a bracket. Branch out and experiment with everything. You may find it one day, you may not but don't run yourself dry trying. Be you cause you're fucking rad.
