Enjoy this clip of George Kuchar’s “Hold Me While I’m Naked” (and we suggest you seek out the entire short film). **********George Kuchar, and his brother Mike, made underground movies without a map, before “underground movies” was a thing. The Kuchars were key players in New York’s nascent, subversive underground/experimental film movement, and were a formative influence on John Waters. THUNDERCRACK I've spelt it in capital letters as it's supposed to sound as loud as it's written.! How annoying that #Youtube has taken this amazing cult movie down. It's taken me ages to remember it's name ( am lousy with names even though have seen the damm thing on several occasions ), but for such a hard movie to find ( not available on #Amazon ) you'd think with all the money #google make on advertising, they could pay a small amount in royalties to keep the movie on their site ( without charging us anything, thank you very much). This is a real gem: black comedy spoof horror porn; okay there is a kind of plot in a stormy night breakdown taking shelter in a spooky old house on the hill, but this is so much more due to amazing characterisation and cracking dialogue ( another of my recommendations " Hot Shots" has similar credentials ) and I just can't get away from the amazing set scenes and visuals that will remain with me forever and a day. The crazy landlady " Gert" played by #MarionEaton is a sensation and she really did make me think of Joan Crawford and Bette Davies spoofed up. Fantastic and kind of erotic too. #directedby Curt Mc Dowell. Good look in finding it. If anybody knows where to buy this please let me know.
