Do you think Leech family would get along very, very well with Addams family?
Like Yuu could be from Addams clan and knowing how Addams are, I feel like both Floyd and Jade and their mother Georgia would find both Yuu and their family, how they act interesting, plus they have common interests, so they would get along with Addams family.
The Addams family is such a strong concept, I love how it can be used in so many fan-works. This also works so well with NRC, seeing as all of the staff and students are a little peculiar in their own ways. However, it’s absolutely perfect with the Leach twins and their mother.

In this scenario, I’m going to say that the Addams family has had many members go to NRC before Yuu. In fact, Yuu gets adopted by the Addams family when they come to tour the school grounds and see a peculiar magicless student living in a haunted dorm. The family immediately decides to sponsor Yuu and Grim, much to Crowley’s joy and dismay (joy because he doesn’t have to pay for Yuu and Grim, dismay because there goes his cheap labor). Yuu and Grim spend their breaks bonding with the family and really joining them. They know that their newest child might have to go back home one day, but they’ll love having them around as long as they can be.
During one of those breaks, some familiar faces come to visit the family. Your eyes go wide as Jade and Floyd approach the house, their mother leading them.
Of course Floyd would be ecstatic, “Shrimpy!”
“Floyd! Jade!” Your eyes went wide, “What are you doing here?
Jade smiled as his brother bounced towards you, “The Addams Family is a long-time friend of the Leech family.”
“You must be little Yuu,” Georgia smiled, sending a small shiver up your spine, “To think you’re also the magicless friend Floyd and Jade keep talking about.”
“Georgia!” Gomez appears behind you and goes to hug his friend, “I see you met our Yuu.”
“Yes, the boys have told me a lot about her,” she moved to hug Morticia who politely declined the hug.
“If we had known,” Morticia smiled her small smile, “we would have had you over sooner.”
“It’s all right,” Georgia gently pulled you into her hug, you now realized her relation to Floyd, “We can make up for lost time.”
Floyd would spend a lot of time with the kids, doing odd mortality experiments and taking plenty of risks out of boredom.
Meanwhile Jade would spend time with Cousin It, Lurch, and Thing. They would greatly entertain him in a more mature way.
However, Jade would eventually join his brother, Wednesday, and Pugsley in their endeavors once he got bored of his original company.
Meanwhile, Georgia would spend most of her time with Gomez and Morticia. They would engage in endless conversations that leaned on the macabre.
How your day with the Leeches goes is up to which Addams you spend your day with.
Here’s more random headcannons:
Gomez is the best at training you for overblots. He’ll train you in swordsplay (fencing) and randomly test you whenever you’re home. “Random testing” means he’ll randomly begin duels with you, meaning it’s best to always keep your rapier on you. A habit that might carry over to NRC.
Thing would help you with your homework. He’d point out the sections of your textbook that would help you answer the question you were stuck on. He’d keep mixing your potions while you took the time to read the recipe.
Wednesday and Mortica would dive into magical theory with you. Talking about experimentation and theoretical magic in more depth than the school would go into.
The Leech twins would spend much more time around you at school. They ask you questions and do their best to see what makes you tick. Now that you have their attention, they are not letting it go.
Georgia would also begin to check in on you. You’re now not only a dear friend of her sons, but a dear friend of the family.
