Hi ladies, for the drunk!Kurt ask, there is, of course, the wonderful Life in the Big Apple, the sequel to the wonderful Westerville Abbey by @hkvoyage when Kurt comes home drunk after a boozy night out with Elliot and the boys. Blaine is not amused!

@georgiegems, thank you so much for remembering this. Of course, I thought of this particular story arc in Life in the Big Apple. I decided not to include it because there is an awful lot of story to read to get to the scene (I think you have to read Westerville Abbey first to get the most out of the sequel). If the anon is interested, the scene is in Chapter 17. I really enjoyed writing it and the aftermath. - HKVoyage

And @martsonmars​... HORSES. HORSES. HORSES. DID I FINISH THE DRAWING? OF HORSE I DID! I’m glad with how it turned out, which is mostly thanks to @calliopemelpomene​ ​for having a great reference. I suppose I can draw horses now. I had some pains with the background (fully caused by my own lack of planning) so I do think I went from “watercolour background, gouache foreground” to “gouache background, watercolour foreground.”

Two fun facts!

1. @calliopemelpomene​ was very kind in giving me some free reign, so when I asked if she had certain outfits in mind, she said that it was cold. I then went through fashionofglee to look at some of the coats that Blaine wore in the show. As a result, the coat is based on this coat from the Summer Nights performance.

2. There is a doc with some references and when I saw that Blaine’s glasses had a light frame, I decided to use silver shimmering watercolour. You can’t really see the shimmer in the scan, which was to be expected, but the fun fact here is that the metal on Wednesday’s horse harness is the same paint, so they match in shimmer-y goodness.

Hi guys please can I highlight a wonderful story by the marvellous flowerfan? Down at the Corner. It is part of a Season 6 reactions series, but it stands alone as a complete story. It is so moving, so beautifully written. It is how season 6 should have gone. I think some readers might not be aware of it as it is hidden within the wider series. Thank you ❤️

AU after Season 5/ Alt!s6. Blaine went back to Lima after the breakup, but Kurt stayed in New York. They do in fact reunite on the corner outside the loft in six months, but it doesn't go as either of them expected. Over the course of the next year, Blaine struggles to find himself, and Kurt struggles to find Blaine. And while they both realize that love doesn’t necessarily conquer all, they discover that it definitely helps.

For the anon asking about break up and then reunited fics, another fantastic one is The Bones of You by Stoney. It is so beautifully written, and so full of loss and longing, I had a lump in my throat for most of it.
