Misc Differences !

Some differences between me and Herbert as well as some fun facts about me!

I did not have an Archimedes! But I was fond of birds, and would feed the wild crows and pigeons often enough that they would wait for me! I started to name them all over time but feeding the birds was something I did privately when work was overwhelming me. I remember there was a back metal porch on a part of the base near my lab that I would feed them at. We were stationed in New Mexico at the time. No one else went back there because, conveniently, there happen to be a lot of bird shit around there for some reason. It was highly discouraged to feed wild life including birds but the watchful reigns of MANN were, in all honesty, not kept that tightly on us.

( I wish they would have let me pet them like this, but the most I got them to do was eat out of my hand sometimes 💔💔 )

Herbert was around 10- 15 years older than me exactly. I wish I remembered when his birthday was but it was very close to mine, if not within a few days of. He was around 50 and I was in my late 30s.

I kept my medical lisence!! I never got it revoked because I never stole. And then misplaced. A man's skeleton.

I also never made a deal with the devil. Herbert's ears were more pointed than mine but it could have been my imagination in all fairness.

I was born somewhere over on where the top left side of Germany is now! Maybe up a little bit further? But definitely around there.

Am I A Clone??

How did clones work in my timeline? Am I a clone?

The specifics were never told to me too directly but, there were some things that I payed attention to. I went through a lot of bureaucracy and paperwork going from RED to BLU so some of the people I met passing through there let some things slip.

Side note! 🖊 When I was kicked off, it was a very awkward car ride into the middle of the desert where my hands and feet were bound, I was tossed out of the car, and then they sped off. These were all instructions sent to RED to do to me by MANN CO but they didn't know shortly after I would be picked up by a seperate MANN CO vehicle driven by Miss Pauling. Unbound and ready to start again on a new team they were developing!

When I found out the team I would be on would all be exact physical copies of my old team I had responded with something along the lines of "So they're clones?". The person talking to me had laughed in my face and said "It's funny you think you're the originals. You think you're so special. As if you don't deal with enough things that aren't grown in lab or slabbed on a petri dish."

I never told anyone about it. But that gave me something to think about for a long while. Consider things. Here is my theory based off of what I learned from everyone:

We got to grow up and live in families from our respective countries. No matter how well our lives were going there was always SOMETHING that would interrupt our future and place us in MANN CO. It was always presented like our only option or "our choice" to join. I think we were either implanted in embryos or switched in the hospital, something simular to this, to place us in the lives of unknowing families. We live our lives, mildly influenced by MANN CO. Until we are needed.

RED Heavy and I were both in college at some point (not at the same time) and were both well on our way to fine careers but something would happen. And we would get a letter from MANN CO telling us there were urgently hiring at a price we just couldn't refuse. For Heavy it was tragedy, for me it was the pay they were offering that out weighed my other options.

I wonder if we ever bumped into eachother without knowing? Or maybe that's why we were such different ages, to stagger us from simular social circles. Maybe I had met Herbert in passing and thought nothing of it "hey that guy kind of looks like me." It's weird to think about.

I used to work for red team as their doctor before I started working for blu team. While working with red, I made many great advancements on the Uber and respawn machine. I put down some really solid ground work. However, with an entire team at my disposal it was much easier to test things out in the moment on the feild, and they started to resent me for it. Few too many hearts exploding mid battle and me fighting to save their life. All without telling them ahead of time, of course! (It could interfere with the results) I was very honest otherwise with them, about my desires for the men I wanted them to be. How I wanted to transform them into something stronger and greater.

Needless to say I got carried away, I didn't value them as people and saw them more as test subjects. I was sort of secretly voted off the team while new blu recruits were making their way in. (Which I don't know if we knew about yet.) After I was voted off without my knowledge, I was told it was unanimous by my higher ups, I was "promoted" to blu team!

I learned to hide the more enthusiastic parts of myself and I took time to bond with my teammates this tjme around. But I never let anyone close enough to see me like that again. Became much more reserved because of it, had a lot more trust issues. But I had the BIGGEST shit eating grin the first time around I got to see red tean again, this time on blu team. Ready to kick their ass hehehehe.

Someone tell me there’s at least one important female character who’s not a child and who doesn’t die that does not fuck Geraldt immediately. I want to like this show.

I’m trying to watch the witcher. I’m trying so hard :) So many people are saying it’s good... but I’m no longer impressed and I’m only in the first epsiode.
