March 2017            More Geraniums flowers. I don’t know the different type of Geraniums but these I started from a clipping that I planted into the ground. Geraniums seem to be easy to grow here.

Science: Geranium is a genus of 422 species of annual, biennial, and perennial plants that are commonly known as geraniums or cranesbills. They are found throughout the temperate regions of the world and the mountains of the tropics, with the greatest diversity in the eastern part of the Mediterranean region.

Symbolism: Friendship, happiness, good health, and love.

Fun Fact: Certain scent-leaved geraniums can repel insects.

Can you eat it?: Don't risk it. Some are edible but most aren't.
