Hey there my dear Johnlock Fellas!
I’m on the train back to the Airport after my short trip to London.
Therefore I would like to share some of my favourite Johnlock-Scenes from our german audiobooks adaptation.
We have a series called Sherlock Holmes Chronicles. One episode ist called “sein schrecklichster Fall” [his most terrible case] and it’s about the revenge of Baron Gruner from the illustrious client of the OG Books.
Short Summary: Gruner kills Kitty Winter for revenge and blames Shimwell Johnson for it.
His next step is to knock out Holmes by killing Watson (supposedly) and getting him blamed for the murder of his best friend.
Gruner played with Sherlocks feeling so well that he totally excepted it and sees no sense in a future without Watson.
The story is written at Holmes perspective!!
There are a few quotes I want to share:
[when he sees the body in the living room]:
A dozen opium pipes wouldn't have been able to numb me now.
A leaden weight lay on my chest, my heart and my soul.
…
My gaze fell on the body that lay dehumanized on the floor of our living room. It may sound frightening, but at that moment I abandoned my famous caution and common sense. I squawked and thrashed in vain, trying to get closer to my dead friend.
(Shout out to the great voice acting of Till Hagen)
[when he found out Watson is alive]:
… now I saw it too, and my heart threatened to burst with joy. Did we actually find Watson?
Now I recognized him. It was Watson, and I thought I would faint with relief. “It’s me, Sherlock! I come to save you, stay quiet!”
and that cute one after the case is solved:
[to mycroft and watson]:
As you can see, big brother, I can't hide my feelings sometimes either, especially when it comes to true love. Isn't that right, Watson?
Watson: Yes, that could be true, although I'm not sure what you mean by that.
Holmes: Watson, my good old friend. There's no one like you in this world. I feared I'd lost you forever. Because you're not just a friend, you're like a brother to me. And as such I love you.
I really just love our German Holmes audiobooks for that and every other Johnlock shipping moment.
