Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 4 hamburger buns. 4 currywurst sausages. 1 cup curry ketchup. 1 onion, thinly sliced. 4 slices of cheddar cheese. Lettuce leaves. Tomato slices. Pickles. Salt and pepper to taste. Cooking oil for grilling.
Instructions: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties. Season each patty with salt and pepper. Grill the burger patties to your desired level of doneness, usually about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare. During the last minute of cooking, add a slice of cheddar cheese to each patty and let it melt. While the burgers are cooking, grill the currywurst sausages until they are heated through and have grill marks. Lightly toast the hamburger buns on the grill until they are golden brown. To assemble the burgers, spread a generous amount of curry ketchup on the bottom half of each bun.
