So. German!Alex is a food snob and he makes a point to always remind the boys of his superior heritage food wise (especially when it comes to bread).

So him pointing out the "new" flavour of the hotdogs was something the boys were used to cause Alex will not shut up about how much more tasty Weißwürste mit Brezn are

Alex being a food snob is basically canon for me, he's such a picky eater!

And the others really aren't so when he points out the 'new flavor' they're like 'ugh, Alex with his weird food habits'. Well, look where that got you, idiots.
