It’s day 3 of the #MovemberVinylChallenge from @thateddiehix: A Trio Band Trio - S/T (Mercury, 1982) This was one of two records my father bought for me in Cologne, when he went there for a psychiatrists convention. I was charmed by it right away, especially the alarmingly catchy pop perfection of Da Da Da, which went on to become a minor hit in the USA. Still a really fun record, including their ultra-minimalist take on Lee Dorsey’s Ya Ya. Fun fact: produced by Klaus Voorman!
