Do u think drainfolk put their babies in cut up socks like we do with small animals. Like sweaters? Rubs them?

They can and most likely do yeah. at least until they aren't 90% fluff and can wear normal clothes without it being a disaster in waiting (and EVEN then younger drainfolk almost all agree most clothes are itchy while the rest of their baby coat sheds out.)

Is Germo going to get better?

Yes! Well... kind of, Germo has long term immunosuppressive issues and allergies because of their time spent sickly as a really young child but they end up recovering enough to be a normal kid (and have an almost normal life i'd assume).

Is Germo like a sickly little spore or are they all like that?

im unsure what "like that" exactly means in this case because im stupid, but yes, Germo is sickly; and is why Lentil left the drain to become a bizzyboy because ANYWHERE ELSE would be a better place for a newly single parent and her sickly child.

Normally even the smallest of drainfolk can cling to their parents shortly after birth- but the more sickly ones aren't strong enough to do so and require other methods to carry them around- thus the backpack on Lentil's design- its a safe spot to keep Germo while keeping an eye on their health. this is a common method or transporting younger drainfolk that are too sick to cling or other factors prohibit it.
