Kaplan Oberscheven was at home when the parish house was hit by a bomb of one of the last bombing attacks at Düsseldorf. He was fatally wounded. His last resting place is at the cemetery at Düsseldorf Gerresheim. Kaplan Georg Oberscheven spent 9 years at St. Margareta at Düsseldorf-Gerresheim. I visit his grave very regularly.
