Drums recorded with 1 Mic 10ft Away mic = Lawson 47 (low cut filter engaged) - 10 ft from front of kit, a bit off center, 2.5ft height preamp = MP2NV with EQ2NV compressor = mc77 at 4:1 med attack and release converter = 002 drums = Pearl Export kit (rack toms no bottom), Sabian cymbals, Ayotte Drumsmith snare notes: kick is solid with a lovely tone too! snare is kinda wimpy at that far distance, cymbal wash is really nice, articulation of foot hat and ride cymbal ok, other toms ring out well, actual dynamics is apparent.
