(this ask started getting long so I am answering it like this)
Sure!! I'd love to!
I have so many so I'll just tell you about my fan projects.
after the break:
My first fan story. The plot of this story has its genesis around two legendary Digital heroes of the past. One of them was revealed to actually be a human in disguise, so Yggdrassil (who is the supreme lord of the Digital World in most Digimon stories) banished that human and created a web of interlocking lines to block the Digital World (DW) from the Real World (RW.) This inadvertently created the Internet.
In the present day (actually more like 2009/2010) six teens from Chicago find themselves transported to the DW, where they meet Lord Holy Angemon and get their partners. These "Chosen Children" (also known as Digidestined; the terms are usually interchangeable in my stories) are fated to help free the DW of a group of hacker terrorists who have bad intentions. Along the way they travel through the DW, learn more about themselves and become closer to their partners, and yeah, they do Save Both Worlds like you'd imagine. It's a pretty straightforward Digimon story.
This is the first canonical appearance of Brekmon, as well.
2. Digimon Fragment
The unpolished sequel to Network. Tells the story of three teens form New York who get three Digimon who were created by proxy in the first story and after the climax of that story, they were not deleted from the Digital World. So LHAngemon gave the main characters each these really dangerous Digimon with hopes of sparing them from oppression in the DW. Eventually the main characters found themselves pitted against a RW group interested in harnessing the power of Digimon for their own gains.
This story had a focus on Armor Evolution, which is a different kind of Digievolution that revolves around artifacts that can upgrade Digimon, usually to different extents than a normal evolution.
3. Digimon Zodiac Core
My story that was about the Zodiac and also featured Xros evolution. This story was about four teenagers from different parts of the US and also in different times of the year who were brought to the DW by the Sovereigns (powerful Digimon in canon) because of a virus that infected Yggdrassil, who is more tree-like in this story than others. The virus had halted data production in the DW, thus making the existing data corrupt. Because data was no longer free, the only way to evolve was via Xros, which is like fusion in a sense (I could write a whole article about the difference between xros and jogress but that’s for another day). Each teen got a classical element and a Zodiac-themed Digimon as a partner. However they were all very headstrong and didn’t get along, so their stories branched off into parallel arcs through different regions of this particular Digital World.
Eventually their journey would lead them to the Dark Area, the underworld of the DW, where a malicious hacker from the RW named Eclipse had machinations to control the world via making data a commodity instead of a free product.
This story was a little different than the previous two because of the focus on digixros, and also because in the beginning, the characters are really going on individual journeys rather than traveling as a team.
4. Digimon Empty Set
A return to more straightforward Digimon stories, although this one was intended as a mini-series. Half of the Digital World in this story had been plunged into an abyss that sucked anyone who entered it down into its depths. This also meant that Yggdrassil, who was both tree and god in this story, was half in the void. With the DW on the fritz, the Sovereigns (again) call upon five teenagers in the RW to journey to the DW and help out. But the baddy who caused the void in the first place took one of the Digivices for himself, leaving four teens and their Digimon partners largely incompatible as a team. After they eventually made it to the DW, their story would mostly take place in the world that the void lead to (this was the Dark Area, in this story a parallel world where as in the previous story it was more of an island off from the DW mainland) as they raced against Halequinmon, the aforementioned bad guy, who was trying to awake Lucemon and the Demon Lords - all this while learning to get over their issues and work as a team.
This story had more interesting concepts behind it that are not easy to express in this blurb. For instance, in this story, only Digidestined can see Digimon for what they really are in the RW. Everyone else sees them as something mundane. Also, in this world, every human in the RW has a parallel double in the DW (not literally, but it’s like a 1:1 ratio.) The humans and Digimon who are Digidestined therefore are the only ones who can exist in both worlds, since they have no double. Now the problem arises if a human who was not Digidestined were to enter the DW, which was actually the idea behind a sequel story.
5: Digimon Wireless
My most recent story and probably the most different in terms of structure. I feel like a trend surfacing in the DigiFDD fandom is for stories that focus more on individual Tamer/Partner teams rather than a whole lot of characters at once. Of course, this story has a lot of partnerships, but the idea was to tell an enclosed story featuring just one human and one Digimon partner at a time, and then have the stories link up somehow.
The plot for this series of stories was that two years ago, sometime in the near future, RW scientists happened upon the DW and saw that it was a bounty of free data that could be exported and used in the RW. So they harvested it and soon there was free Wi-Fi anywhere in the world – even in really remote areas of the world, like Antarctica, for example. What the scientists in the RW didn’t understand was that this data was the lifeblood of the DW, and that the inhabitants of this parallel world would suffer if their data was used for the dumb stuff we use it for here in real life. The DW then united on shaky terms to bring the RW to its knees through strategic invasions.
Most of the stand-alone stories would focus on Digidestined and their partners, but some shorter stories would just be about people interacting with Digimon, whether or not they were fated to have a partner or not.
There are some other things I could say about this story but since I am trying to actually write it I’d like to keep it a little more secret.
Then, finally, there’s the adventures that Rob and Brekmon went on in The Digital Cup (and the second tournament but not as much.) Those are all finished and said for, so there isn’t much to really say, but those comics are about Rob and Brek trying to help defeat an evil hacker in the DW while running into various opponents and obstacles. Mostly it was about how awesome Rob and Brek are :)
I hope that helps! Feel free to ask any other questions you have.
im laughing really hard right now good luck with ghost stories XD that show is weird in (im assuming u r watching the english dubbed version)
Yep! its quite fun to watch and relax too :>
helloyesiamlili replied to your post: what series?
