Lily Evans was getting married. Lily Evans was getting married to James Potter, like that hadn’t been years and years in the making.

Honestly, it was nice to have a happy event on the forefront of her mind for a change. Everyone in a room smiling and enjoying themselves sounded loads better than everyone in a room for an Order meeting. As much as Emmeline liked her work for the Order and knew it was important, it wasn’t exactly what she would call uplifting.

“You look amazing, Lils.” She said, smiling fondly at her younger friend. “James may faint when he sees you.”
