All your creativity is valuable, even if you don't succeed!
Many years ago I got the chance to work in the studio with Simon Apex, and although those tunes never really got completed those sessions really helped form much of my understanding of dance music production. Concepts like choosing elements, finding the direction for a tune, how to arrange a song, how sampling can be used creatively, all came from those early sessions watching others work. Sometimes the finished product isn't the most important part, sometimes the process itself is what helps shape you into who you will become. All this to say, don't get discouraged when you you aren't getting results because the very act of creating something also teaches you something. Maybe the benefit isn't today, but years down the road and since you don't know for sure, you might as well keep on creating!
