hey so I have nothing against you warning people about industrialbruise, people should 100% be able to know what they're getting into. but, like, idk if you've read any of his blog past what was necessary to discover his unfortunate past and go "ew no" so I thought I should share with you that he's a hyposensitive who, as a child, was subjected to traumatizing attempts to "fix" this. He's not some rando edgelord who decided to bang a red because filth gets him hard, he's a mentally ill [1/2]
person who I, for one, am glad is no longer being led by his mental illness to harm himself like that. anyway I’m not trying to say that you’re doing anything wrong, his problems are not your responsibility etc., but I thought you should know.
I apologize for not responding to this ask when I received it. I was tired, I didn’t want to post it without confirming the information, and I believe I also needed time to think about how best to respond.
I am saddened to hear about this person’s mental illness, and even more saddened to hear that he seems to have been subjected to prolonged forced proximity to pollutants. That is a horrifying thing to go through, and I would not wish it on anyone. I hope for a world where no one ever has to go through it again, under any circumstances.
This does not excuse his past actions or current beliefs, which are abhorrent. Nor does it mean that he is a good person for four-year-old hypersensitives to be interacting with, especially when they cannot be expected to know what he has involved himself with. On the other hand, I admit that it does change my understanding of the situation.
@industrialbruise, I would like to reiterate that I hope you recover.
