synopsis- you surprise him on the morning of his birthday. pure FLUFF. (teenage 2006 arch)
he had said that he had no specific plans the night before when you'd asked him. you made sure to convince him that you couldn't sleep in his dorm that night because of a very important assignment you had pending so that you didn't wake him up before laying out the TOP SECRET surprise you had planned that morning.
that morning, you carefully opened the door with the spare key only you had, while he was still asleep and slid under his bed frame. he always got up from the left. you turned that way. you waited patiently, on the edge of the frame.
as soon as you heard him wake up, the groaning, reluctant of getting out of bed so soon, you got alert, saw his ankles reach the ground, his legs straightening, indicating that he had stood up. you grabbed his legs.
he yelped like a child. you could just as about see the look of horror on his face. "GOD" he screamed. you could not hold back your laughter any longer as it took a great deal of control to hold it back until now.
he recognized the sound immediately. you cover was blown. you wiggled out from under his bed and faced his horrified face. "are you serious?" he said in an octave higher than usual. you half expected him to scream but, you should've know better. he would never scream at you.
"surprise!" you jumped and threw your hands around him. "happy birthday suguru" you squealed. "more like scary birthday" he joked.

Ethereal. Something almost too perfect for this world. A gem that can’t be found even in the deepest of pits, cascading to the bottom of the ocean with nothing but a gleaming sparkle to mark its beauty— beneath mossy ravines and treacherous tunnels, lost in a sea of mystery and unresolved feelings. Feelings that are the single driving force for everything he lives for. Feelings that make his heart skip two beats faster, creating a love song that he wishes he could sing out loud. They’re everything he could ever wish for and want in a partner…in a soulmate.
That’s what Suguru considers you to be. His soulmate.
You’re an absolutely, breathtakingly, physical embodiment of perfection in his mind. The most perfect woman in the world is nothing but dust in comparison as there’s simply no one else like you. No one that even so much as nears the level of adoration that he holds you at in his heart; which is all the more reason for the throbbing pain the organ feels. With his blood pumping and heart racing, he’s dying.
“I’m so sorry, Suguru.” He wishes you’d stop biting your lip so hard. He knows apologies are difficult, practically impossible, but your lips are bleeding from how hard you’re holding back tears. “I wish I could love you. I want to love you, but I just can’t.”
With a shaky voice, you confirm his worst fears. “I’ll always love Satoru most.”
Oh, Satoru. There's just one person in the world that Suguru has never been able to surpass and it's his best friend. His closest confidant who's outgoing, handsome, charismatic, and everything the lesser man wishes he could be. Yes, they haven't spoken in months— not since their infamous stand off outside of their former lunch spot— but Satoru is the only person who knows about Suguru's condition. Hanahaki.
He was diagnosed with the disease when he was fifteen years old...the day after he met you.
The first sign was an innocent red petal, resembling that of a spider lily. Thin and scarlet with an enigmatic beauty that reminded him so much of you. He wanted to cherish the flower, encase it in resin to freeze that beautiful moment in time so he could give it to you, and show you just how much he values you. However, that moment wasn't beautiful. It was the start of the end of his life. A life filled with resentment and jealously that would only grow into a field of flowers settling in the pit of his stomach— with thorns and weeds he can feel but not see.
Yes. Technically you're the one to blame for his fatal condition, but Geto can't acknowledge that. To him, you can do no wrong. You're perfect just as you are, flaws and all. He believes he knows you best out of anyone in the world, and he can't understand why you'd choose Satoru over him. Satoru doesn't care about you! He's never cared about you! Why can't you see what's right in front of you? Geto is right here. He's here and he wants to hug you and make everything better; yet he can't...because while he's crying over you, you're crying over Gojo.
"I can make you happy, I promise!" He's desperate, now. "I know I'm not him, but I can be better!"
You shake your head, coughing briefly before smiling at him with blood-stained teeth. What? "We're too similar, Suguru." Why are you bleeding? What's going on? "Neither of us want to give up."
Slowly, your fingers release the fist you've been holding for the past few minutes, revealing a pile of small blue petals. A shade of blue that Geto is all too familiar with, having stared at the color for a majority of his teenage years in his best friend's eyes. It's a color that most associate with hope and prosperity— not knowing that it's also directly associated with your inevitable death.
Gojo Satoru is the most powerful man in the world; and you're the most powerless woman for loving him.
He feels himself crawling towards you, ignoring the piles of bloodied petals decaying on your bedroom floor, and ever-so-gently touches your cheek. Geto wishes he could wipe your tears and never see you cry again. Someone so beautiful shouldn't feel sadness. It isn't right.
"I love you." he whispers, gaze settled on your scarlet lips.
Say it back.
"Please." he leans in closer.
Just let him show you how perfect you are.
"I would never hurt you."
Your lips are almost on his...
...and suddenly they're gone.
"This isn't what I want!" His heart breaks in two at the sound of your cry. It isn't Gojo that's making you miserable, right now it's him. Geto, himself, is the cause of your pain and if he could he'd rip his own mouth off to get him to stop talking he would. "Suguru, I don't want you. Please understand!"
You continue sobbing and Geto can't stop the flow of tears no matter how hard he tries. "I wish I loved you, I want to so badly, but it's always going to be Satoru!"
His stare is so focused that he can see the budding blossoms at the back of your throat, threatening to grow and shrivel up your heart with their thorns. The pain that you feel every day is likely unbearable, as if your entire body is being ripped in two due to the utter devastation of pure heartbreak. Geto would know. He feels it every day, too. He's felt it every day for the last two years of knowing you and he's surprised that he hasn't succumbed to the garden already. Just wither and die. Please just go away! His pleas are so loud, overtaking his every thought, that he doesn't know if he's wishing away the spider lilies or himself.
"If it's always him," his chest feels heavy; it's almost an all-consuming fire using his blood as oil, "then we both know what's going to happen to us."
You nod, whimpering slightly as you bite back your tears.
He can't believe this is how it's all ending.
Somehow, his head finds its resting place against yours.
He was so confident you'd be able to feel the same.
The vines crawl to his tongue, attempting to snare and take hold of his ability to speak— but not before he can utter his last words.
you and Geto usually didn't fight as you never really had much problems. you usually talked it out and things barely ever (never) got big enough to call it a fight. so, this was a first.
"I don't even understand what the problem is!" you cried
"maybe because you're stupid!" he shot back
"yeah maybe." you said quietly.
you turned around, took your jacket and opened the door quietly, and shut it with care. as you were in the male dormitories, (where you weren't supposed to be) you couldn't even storm out and slam the door.
he stood there regretting every word he said. he couldn't even follow you as it was time for the curfew and he would get in trouble if he was caught (especially with a girl lol). so, he called your phone.
you picked up on the third ring.
"make sure no one sees you talking to a stupid person!" you spoke first.
"I'm sorry that's not what I meant"
"those were surely the first words that came to your mind."
"it just came out. you're one of the smartest people I know, the first person I'd call when I don't understand something is you. I'm sorry, love."
"yeah thanks. is that all?" you scoffed
"no. can we please talk this out calmly? I hate fighting with you."
"yes please." you said, calming down a little.
this was supposed to include other characters too but I got a lil lazy + the post would become too long so I'll include other characters in individual posts.
you had this way of kissing Suguru. your hands would always find his jaw, and pull him closer to you to kiss him.
he found it fascinating and incredibly cute how you'd just grab his jaw and he'd let you pull his face closer to yours. the first time you did it, he was speechless, not expecting that. ever since that, it was the only thing he'd long for.
it was the next morning after he'd sleep over at your place. you were already up, freshened up. he opened his eyes and saw you sitting beside him on the bed.
"hey. you got up before meee" he whined. you were the only person who he'd ever whined at. "oh sorry. I just felt like freshening up" yu replied. "oh it's fine." he smiled sleepily.
he sat up and floated closer to you, his hands wrapped around. he lightly inhaled and out of nowhere jerked up and got out of bed. you looked at him, concerned, "what happened?!".
"oh, I can't fall asleep again. I slept in already, I think." he reasoned. "Suguru, th world wouldn't end if you slept in for one day" you smiled. "I just feel really groggy without you lying beside me in the mornings, that's all". "oh, sorry, sugu" you smiled.
he walked over to the bathroom and closed the door behind him to freshen up. after about 5 minutes he comes out with a smile. you stand up to kiss him.
not your usual way though. after you've separated, he looks at you with a confused expression. "what happened?" he asks. "nothing, why?" "that wasn't your usual way of kissing me." he says.
"I'm confused?" you say. "yoy know, how you usually pull me by the face? I really like that." he let out a small smile. "ohh that's what you mean!" you smile.
you take a hold of his jaw, pull him closer to meet his lips. you feel him smile against you.
synopsis- you find out what he's turned into. jjk past arc (2006).
your head pounded. your heart had dropped. you mentally pleaded that this be another sick joke.
thud thud thud
the words rang in yours ears. hoping waiting for Satoru to burst out laughing, telling you that this was all just a joke planned by him. you awaited that moment but, it never came. this isn't a joke.
both of you were at a loss for words. "what." the only thing you managed to mutter out in shock. it wasn't a question.
you had to find out yourself. you had to talk to him. one last time.
not because you though Satoru was lying. he would never lie about something like this. but, as someone who was once promised his love, you should.
your mind raced. where would he be right now? you waited for something to pop in your mind. ______________
nothing. nothing but something. reluctantly, with no hope, you set out. you walked a while, roaming in the streets that you once roamed together. the shops he'd take you to and insist that he gift you something or the other.
you set out for the cemetery that you both would walk by in the nights and make jokes about Yaga popping out of one of the graves to catch you out of your dorms.
you almost smile at the thought before remembering why you're racing down alleys and streets.
finally, you reach the spot. the place looks scarier now that Suguru isn't with you. you stop for a few seconds, meters before the small field to catch your breath.
you know where he is standing right now. the patch of ground full with forget-me-not flowers. as a matter of fact, the only patch of ground that had somewhat vibrant colour.
you walked in, anticipating. you hadn't noticed that you were holding your breath until you, at last, reached. your releasing of air led to rustling of leaves.
a familiar black haired, tall silhouette loomed before you. a forget-me-not twirling in his fingers. not one person would have guessed the news you had received regarding him only a couple minutes ago.
you didn't have to speak for him to guess what it was that you were here for.
"ah. long time no see!" he said cheerfully. "certainly. long enough for you to become a mass murderer!" you spat out bluntly.
"I wouldn't want to waste your time beating around the bush so let me get to it." he continued stoically.
"no, let me get to it, Suguru. you're out of your mind. what you're trying to do is wipe our half the population. neglecting your purpose. honestly, what happened to the strongest?! what happening to saving the world with me and Satoru?! what happened to getting new injuries whilst saving the world for Shoko to practice on?! did an asteroid hit you in the past week, Suguru?! were you always plotting on killing me one day?"
"you know I need to try. for a better world for us. for a better world for the jujutsu community. we are cleaning up after other humans' litter. for what?! only to die while doing so?"
"I never could have thought of you running away from duty. you know that many jujutsu sorcerers you claim to be trying to save would die from this too."
"I'm trying to save you." he says quietly. "no. no you're not. you know there are too many outcomes of this"
"I don't have time to influence all of your beliefs right now. all I want to ask is for you to join me, trust me, for nothing but the best"
"I trust Suguru. I don't know who the person that stands before me is." tears begin to pool in your eyes. you blink to try and make them less obvious.
"then think of me as Suguru." he steps closer. "I can't. he would think that something like this is absurd. impossible." you meet his eye finally after realizing that you were looking at the ground beside him earlier.
he closes all the distance there was there. not allowing you to speak further. he feels the same he did the last time. as if the past week had never happened. his lips dance the same way they used to.
what wretched your heart further was that you both knew, it would probably be the last time your lips touch each other. it was a silent understanding. you felt him nudge something into your palm.
you pulled back to look at what lies in your palm. the forget-me-not that he had previously been holding had made it's way to you. you looked above to meet his eyes.
his eyes held innocence, as if there was still Suguru somewhere trapped inside. something inside you leaped again, like the first time you had heard the news earlier that morning. except this felt more positive, how ironic.
you increased the distance that he had closed what felt like ages ago. you tore away from him. you ached to go back to a minute ago in time.
every step felt like a mile. every memory felt like a dream.
Can you please do a Geto x fem reader, BUT the reader has just as much hair as Him, heck even longer? Would he be envious of it? Anything you can think of 😼
It can be sfw or nsfw- or even a bit of both 😖
yesyesyesyesyesyesyes
he would probably be jealous (but not in a bad way ofc) if someone had longer hair than him AND WOULD WHINE ABOUT IT MORE THAN ONCE A DAY. anyways....
btw I hope you don't mind that this is 2006 Geto <3

you laid of your stomach right in middle of your bed in your dorm. your (colour) hair, long and free, resting on the curve of your back.
it reflected brightly on the dim sunlight falling through the parted curtains on the windows. on your hand was your phone, about to call your boyfriend, just as you heard a soft click on your door.
it was like telepathy, before you had the chance to dial his number, in the flesh he stood before of you. you leapt up like a lost puppy who was finally found. on your knees you were on the bed, as he stood, embracing you.
as you reluctantly parted, you found his hand fiddling with your hair. "I'm trying to grow my hair longer" he let out. "it's already quite long. what's the hurry?" you stated. "I've always wanted hair your length. it's just so long and nice and fluffy and-" you cut him off "so is yours." you mused "yeah but yours is longer" he reasoned.
"aww are you jealous?" you said teasingly. "nuh-uh!" he lied. you knowingly raised a brow. "what hair oil do you even use?" he asked. "I've told you that a million times."
"but I'm convinced you use a secret product that makes you hair this long." he admitted. "ok fine. maybe I do..." you started. "really?!" his eyes widened, "what is it? tell me!!!".
"do you really want to know?" you were hesitant. "yes... please" he added. "fineeee. I steal your products sometimes..." you finally admitted "what?! no wonder I'm running out this quick." he pouted. he looked to cute for you to not kiss him. as you did, he pulled back, "wait, by sometimes, how often do you mean?" he asked.
"uhh... every Sunday?" you muttered. "you wash your hair every Sunday." he huffed. However, it was quickly replaced with a smile, "guess I'll have to buy more for both of us then." he said as he went back to kissing you.
context- you got into a fight with someone and Geto tries to calm you down.
______________________________________________________________
it was a sunday morning as you and a 6'3, black haired Suguru had gone out for breakfast followed by a walk in the local park. dogs jogged around with their owners, busy chatter of other couples and maybe a butterfly or two around.
while walking, as your eyes were on you boyfriend, you had accidentally bumped into a another couple. a short blonde and a slightly taller brunette. "hey watch where you're going!" sneered the girl, the short blonde one. "oh sorry" you apologized.
"you kind of bumped into us too" said Suguru, in a deeper than usual, scary voice in response the the girl's rudeness towards you. "you know your girl or whatever bumped into my man on PURPOSE!" claimed the girl.
"give me one reason why I'd do that" you questioned the girl. "becuzh you think he's HOT! I mean it's obvious you're trying to get his attention!" she exclaimed. "what?! are you stuck in some delusional alternate universe? it was an accident!" you screamed back.
god, she was a bitch. "ummm no?!" she smirked. "dude, i'm telling you, she's trying with my boyfriend" she addressed Geto. WTF. "I don't understand what's going on in that small head of yours but, I assure you no one is trying anything." Suguru replied, surprisingly calm but, there was a touch of coldness in his voice.
before things escalated further, he took your hand and started walking. you were pretty sure you heard that girl cursing under her breath.
"who does she think she is!" you exclaimed. "why would even even go for that excuse for a man?!" geto chuckled at this. "it's not funny, Suguru!"
"calm down, love" Suguru comforted. that somehow relaxed you a little, your brows unfurrowed. he held you hand. his hands felt warmer than usual. he gently drew you closer, intertwining his lips with yours.
you tugged the hair hanging on the front of his face with one hand and then slid both of your hands up his shoulders, as his hands hugged you tighter, his lips pleasantly on yours.
context- geto got a shirt but, it was way to big for him lmao
Geto stood there in front of his mirror dumbfounded. How could someone mess up sizes so bad? The shirt that he had received from a relative on the occasion of New Years was 10 sizes too big. He didn't mean to be ungrateful but, it seemed as though his aunt thought he was a sumo wrestler.
You gently knocked on his door like you always did even though he told you you didn't have to knock all the time. He walked over and opened the door enough to see who was there but so that they couldn't see his body, only his head was peeking through the door.
When he saw you, he opened the door slightly wider so that you could enter. The moment you saw what he was wearing, you couldn't hold back your laugh. You burst into laughter and your eyes watered from laughing. He couldn't blame you. He would do the same if he was in your position.
"shut up. it's not even that funny." he said in a monotone voice with a slight pout on his face. "who gave you that? you yourself couldn't have done such a big blunder." you managed to ask in between giggles.
"C'mon, it was supposed to be a gift for New Years from my aunt. It turned up 7 days later, 10 sizes too big!" he complained.
"well I've got to remember this one." you took a picture before he could protest. "oh c'mon" he groaned. he knew how much teasing he was in for.
You suddenly did something he never really expected. You suddenly lifted the oversized shirt and went in underneath. You were so close. Suguru still needed some time to process your newly established relationship; he was with a dream. Small things flustered him and although he tried to hide it, it was still quite noticeable.
"ahh it fits better with two people don't you think?" you said with a slight chuckle. "this shows that things are just better with you" he said wrapping his arms around you dropping his chin to your shoulders. You felt your face turning red with your eyes involuntarily widening slightly.
You both stood like that in front of the mirror for a while. He was staring at your reflection as if he was trying to see inside your soul to see if you were looking at him to. of course you were; you could never get enough.
