this sounds Good, i hope it is!
I think it'll be okay. I've been more-or-less stable since november, and I'll be in the same city as my parents in case I spontaneously forget how to get out of bed or make food again a la last may. plus it's a place I lived as a kid, so I know Places and Things, and it's not all alien.
(and I think the most important part is to symbolically let go of the future I didn't get. because staying here feels like I'm still just receding into its wake rather than moving toward something else.)

YES with the word-sentence 'shapes' and dialogue stuck in the head. i have never heard anybody else talk about this ever.
HAHA YES YOU UNDERSTAND. IT IS A THING.
I was wondering if word/sentence shapes was somehow related to my personification synesthesia things but I've seen people talking about personification as a part of autism-spectrum stuff too, and I really only latched onto the synesthesia label because it seemed like the most rational explanation. so really I can't tell what comes from where anymore and everything is just a hodgepodge of crosswired stimulus-response.
username appreciation message: i've always liked it, but now that i've seen the episode where gillian anderson says that line, it's eeeeven better. yay!
