Something a lil different than I usually post. 1. Why don't you ship it?

It's boring and bland- and doesn't explore anything interesting, imo - I think I like them better separate. It's much more interesting to see then by themselves- though a friend and I were talking and I can see them in a poly ship!!! Being together cools them both down personality wise from what I've seen. Could change my mind but hm

2. What would have made you like it?

If it wasn't lovey dovey maybe? Like I said- it tames both their personalities and its just not interesting to me.

3. Despite not shipping it do you have anything positive to say about it?

The Friends to lover trope is always a banger- and I do like their friendship, gege really did show just how much they care about each other.

Gojo/Utahime: Ship it

1. What made you ship it?

I'm not going to lie. I love Utahime hating him so much- it's one of those things I think about sometimes- how similar she is to Suguru (unpopular opinion alert) I love how Satoru doesn't even realize it- you can fit so much in this dynamic alone- misogyny, power dynamics. Utahime being trusted by Gojo, too - to sniff out the mole from Kyoto. Like I can see them settling for each other. And that's also something I think about.

2. What are your favorite things about the ship?

The dynamics and themes you can explore. I've talked about this with another friend on discord- Satoru would fuck Utahime but not Shoko - why? Satoru looks down on Utahime, and he has too much respect for Shoko. Exploring that theme of misogyny is too good- and even though I've been writing about erm more bad dynamics they could work out really well as a happy couple too. In a sense. Happy? Sure. Are they still settling? Sure

3. Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?

Utahime is NOT one to roll over on her belly for Satoru during sex. Sex as a form of agency for Utahime is way too good- and add the idea that Satoru uses this sex to also undermine her- incredible. Insane. I hope it makes sense though- like I said earlier Satoru doesn't respect her so while she is using this as an agency thing he is just fucking her. But it's still a power struggle.

Utahime/Suguru: SHIP

1. What made you ship it?

They are so neat *cups hands with both their look ups* they are very similar and not very similar at the same time- for me it's just their personalities really go together. I think the interplay of how silly utahime is to how serious she also is and the interplay of how violent Suguru is to his calmness is very cool- two people with extremes.

2. What are your favorite things about the ship?

*pats the box* you can put these guys in so many different situations. I genuinely wish gege had them interact more

3. Unpopular opinion about the ship?

Hmmm not really? I don't think suguru would be a fuck Boi with her if that counts?

To add on with this- getohime is omega4omega but with nontraditional a/b/o dynamics
