Avatar Kuei
So, some entrepruining Dai Li sees the 12 year old Avatar rampaging around Ba Sing Se, and thinks, “Hey, wouldn’t it be great if we had an Avatar on our side? That’d be awesome.” So he decides to go mindbend Kuei into thinking he’s the Avatar.
Somehow, due to either luck, this guy having some kind of spirit connection he wasn’t aware of, or Shu waking up and chosing violence, he end up actually making Kuei the Avatar.
So now Aang can’t bend anything but air, Kuei is breaking walls when he kicks in his sleep, and Long Feng is freaking the fuck out.
That guy probably ends up getting executed, and now Long Feng is running around trying desperately to keep anyone from finding out about this, except no, the Avatar-- the former Avatar-- noticed and now he’s asking every sage in Ba Sing Se about it and now Long Feng has to go talk to them whhhhy---
Oh, and now Kuei noticed and Long Feng has to spin some elaborate lie about how those powerful and blessed can something gain bending abilities ugh it’s too early for this--
