I love Big Finish so much, but one thing I don’t like is that it seems to skew towards the grimdark end of the spectrum, especially for Five stories. I didn’t like it when the show turned depressing around season 20, and I still get tired of it. Having some episodes like that is great — Earthshock and Logopolis were amazingly powerful when they first came out — but I also want Carnival of Monsters and Castrovalva and The Five Doctors and Enlightenment sometimes.
