I’ve seen multiple people at this point (both here and on insta) say stuff along the lines of “guys, Grace is aroace you shouldn’t ship him with people” and “I think everyone should acknowledge Grace being aroace more” and I feel like I’m going a bit insane. Unless I’m missing some big coming out scene, Grace’s sexuality is never mentioned explicitly and isent part of the main plot at all. Do I personally really enjoy the aroace-spec read of his character and have it as one of my many contradicting headcanons for him? Yes! But you gotta remember that that’s all it is, a headcanon. Just because it’s a very popular headcanon doesnt make it true. Treating fictional characters like real people and taking what you personally think of them as fact isn’t doing anything to make the fandom space less hostile and is honestly really weird.
