When mako is staying at the police station Lin makes sure the mini fridge in the break room is well stocked with drinks and easy meals so he wouldn't blow his paycheck on take out.

She usually tries to avoid going on cases with him because she doesn't want to see him get hurt. A few times she's called to a scene and mako is at the healers car with some minor wound and she's all like "make sure you get that taken care of I don't need an officer out on injury because they're too thick headed to get treatment." And he's like "you never see the healers tho." She Levels him with an iron stare and simply says "I am married to a healer you know?"

Mako and Lin fighting together in RC would be an epic battle with Lin stepping in to cover mako and mako redirecting attacks as Lin's busy taking down someone elseee one time a flame thrown by a goon hits Lin and mako is so PISSED he electrocutes the good and makes him pay for daring to hurt Lin.

Lin never really treats mako any different than the rest of her officers. They were all her boys. But she can't help the pride in her smile when she attends/announces any promotion or recognition award he earns.
