A lot of days I feel like I can’t. I can’t keep up the exercise, I can’t eat right, I can’t stay away from the chocolate, I can’t be a good mom, or I can’t level up as a writer. Today was not one of those days. I got some great feedback, I started writing so@etching new, I did all the things I had to do, snd I finished off my day with @adrianwilliamsnyc on the @onepeloton tread. 45 minutes of my body screaming at me, 45 minutes of sweat and heaving lungs, but they were 45 minutes of the better me that I’m trying to get to. I’ve never been a fitness person. I was a dancer, cheerleader, gymnast, choreographer, and swimmer. I dabbled in working out. I got injured. I’m a walking bag of aches all day every day. But for whatever reason peloton came into my life at a time I really needed it and I was ready for it. I’m grateful to my husband’s boss for this gift. I’m happy that I’ve been going at this battle for ten months now. The weight and sweets is a battle, but I keep working at it. Hugs everyone. If you’re struggling, I see you and I’m giving you a high-five. #getshitwrit #type2diabetes #reluctantfitnessadventure #perseverance https://www.instagram.com/p/CTlnNCML6mi/?utm_medium=tumblr
