Sneak Peek of Moana One-Shot
((Okay... so while I have homework and tons of things to do, I want to at least show you guys a sneak peek of an actual Moana one-shot I’ve been working on. Basically, it’s my take on a lot of things: how Tamatoa got Maui’s fish hook, became King of Lalotai, and how his friendship with Maui fell apart. I’m still working on the details to make these headcannons my own and there are two more monster OCs I have yet to draw/show on here. This story when finished would be on here, deviantArt, and perhaps if I get the courage, FanFiction. So here are a couple of lines I had written so far.))
"You sure this guy's gonna have your hook?"
"Tamatoa? Oh, he'll have it. He's a scavenger; collects stuff, things that make him look cool. And for Tamatoa? Trust me. My hook is the coolest collectable."
"What in Lalotai's name is going on out there?!" A deep voice rumbled from within the cave, escalating like rolling boulders. Upon recognition of the one monster everyone else detested, the five monsters froze instantly with their mouths wide open. The hook fell from Pouritipu's vines and landed right at the cave's entrance. When a large blood-scaled foot emerged, their dread was confirmed.
"Pilifeai." The monsters paled in unison.
KERCHICK!
For a split second, the sound was the only thing that prevailed against everything else. Both Tamatoa and Maui opened their eyes slowly, focusing on the now jagged half of the crab's leg still attached to the body while the other half was held by the demigod's bare hands.
"You two must get along swell!"
"... not since I ripped off his leg."
