One of my new shop staples is this satin-glo buffing compound. It comes in a ton of grits and it's great for cleaning up the insides of otherwise hard to access areas. I'm using 600grit on the small bobs, but I also have buffing wheels that throw sparks in the low 120 grits. I don't use the low ones for my knives, but it's great for cleaning up general metal working stuff. It takes some practice, but you can get a nice smooth finish even on these coarse grits. #knifemaker #knifemaking #gettingbuff
