Too bad, you missed an epic church in Poreč >.< (and if you were with car, I could have told you where to go eat at a fantastic and cheap place a family friend owns, also truffles with homemade pasta - and ox jambon but that is not for everyone…)

I looked on a map and Porec would have been too far for us to go in just one half of a day. Too bad :(

Za anona ki sprasuje za italijanscino, ita. jezik ostaja obvezen predmet na obalnih osnovnih in srednjah solah (od prvega razreda, ker se ga ne smatra kot tuji jezik ampak kot jezik okolja), tako da bi lahko rekli da teoreticno se stevilo slovencev ki govori italijansko veca vsako leto oziroma ostaja konstantno? Je pa res da je nivo znanja italijanscine v zadnih letih padel v primerjavi s 15imi leti nazaj (in to zaradi risank).

According to striček google, Nestle' has a similar product as čokolino, called Cerelac and it is basically described as infant cereal flakes?

Interesting! As far as I could see they don’t have it in chocolate-only taste (or just chocolate and hazelnut) tho

As someone who watches way too many cooking shows and often gets frustrated because 'wtf is this ingredient and do we even have it here??' I think 'kislo mleko' is a type of buttermilk or at least I saw a couple of shows where they translated buttermilk into kislo mleko (sometimes they mean kislo mleko, sometimes they mean pinjenec and sometimes sirotka... yay for clear recipes =/)

Might be buttermilk is a both a specific type of dairy product and simultaneously a hypernym for multiple types of dairy products as well. I think the clearest translations (based mostly on Wikipedia though, so take that as you will) would be “pinjenec” for buttermilk, “kislo mleko” for soured milk and “sirotka” for whey. But if it is indeed the case that buttermilk can also be used as a hypernym for all of the aforementioned products (though I have no way of telling whether it is), then translating each of these products with their appropriate and more specific Slovene names would also be correct.
