I’ll be honest, I’m generally a fan of The Beatles over the Stones, but Jagger and Richards leave the fab four in the dust when it came to live performance. They released some great music after this, but this is probably the definitive Stones performance; high energy and full of the cheek and charm that made the band so relatable. The subject of numerous remasters, this epic set is best heard in the 40th anniversary edition, which also includes the pre-show performances of blues god B.B.
