I have been out ALLLLL day. Appointment @10 💅🏾 plus PT stuff all afternoon📦🚗. Then me and baby girl had a quick Target run, a late lunch and hit the waterfront/ grabbed some 🍦and spent the evening walking through Old Town till' we were good and exhausted. A whole entire day in this no frills soft af blueish dress by Gap. I initially got the sister to this dress last summer in a different color (pinkish coral and cute) and found this one #thrifted via an online reseller. I took care of my whole day in it and it was never an uncomfortable wear but still moderately stylish. This officially brings my 30 dresses for the month to a close but I'll still post more dresses whenever a look warrants it😁 Stay tuned and go follow @shoptwirllife for my dress resell site on IG. 3 years ago I met man friend wearing this here River Island dress purchased from Asos rocking the same red lip I was cautious of when I was in my 20's. It has this adorable old school feel and reminds me of when I used to wear a similar fit with my shell toe Adidas in 8th grade. My #Day27 dress has been in my closet so long I'm surprised it's still in one piece 😂. I love the babydoll fit but the material has faded a bit and it wrinkles easy. However, it worked out well for the day since I went from home quick run into grocery store and back home. Sis... did I mention she has pockets??? There have been many lapses on my #ADressADayJune journey this summer but I always make time to catch up...eventually. *LONG POST ALERT* Today my little brother called me at midnight (on the dot like every year) I received tons of texts, social media posts and phone calls. (thank youuu💋) The man friend had a parade of unicorn ballons, unicorn edible arrangements, gifts and carrot cake 😍 just everything that made me smile all day. (Swipe 👈🏾👈🏾👈🏾 doe pics) Then my mother called me and sang happy birthday to me which in itself is something special because she's be hospitalized since last August. I am transparent but I keep some things close to the vest more on what that lesson has taught me later. Today's look is just an easy go to when running errands and grabbing something to eat for lunch. The crop top is from American Eagle and the skirt is from Macy's (both purchased a few months ago) so the top should still be available if you're interested. How do I feel about turning 41? I feel thankful for another year, overjoyed for another opportunity, enamored that the Most High God sees fit to watch me make mistakes and learn from them. But again, more on that later... Drink your water, eat your brussel sprouts and check in on your friends who may be caregiving or not.
