For 7 years I dreamed of being a public speaker and in 2015 I become one. The job is incredible and super rewarding however, getting gigs can be tough. I’ve been at home now for the last month helping Mumsy and, between getting her up and sorted for the day I have sent more emails and cold called schools then you could poke a stick at. It’s draining at times but know in my heart this is where I’m meant to be. It is for that reason that I will never stop trying. To loose is to learn, and the best things in life take time. At 25 years old I read my first self-development book called The Ancient Wisdom for Modern heath. It was a fantastic read and has certainly shaped how I live my life to date. I believe that as well as personal experiences, we are all influenced by what we read, watch and listen to. I’ve just finished making a web page on lifeistheway.com labelled “content”. These days are particularly special. Vanlife is great however we still face challenges just like everyone else. Ours may be slightly different... Things like not finding a park or having to sleep in an industrial area or next to a main highway, no public toilets or at worst, copping a fine from the local authorities.
