also with your comment about e2!wells being a jerk because zoom has his daughter: there's also the point that wells doesn't know caitlin or cisco so he wouldn't treat them the same way eobard!wells did, as the latter had time to form relationships with them, so all things considered he really has no /obligation/ to be nice to them. and i would be surprised if he was, honestly, with all that's going on

Right? Everyone keeps talking about how much this character is gonna be a dick, but honestly, he’s not so bad. These are people he doesn’t know, who are antagonistic toward him for (understandable reasons BUT) things he didn’t do, and they keep dragging their feet when his daughter is in danger. Honestly, I know he’s acting like a dick, but I can’t exactly blame him for it.

Also, you can see it in his face, when he turns and walks away from Iris after finding his alternate self/Eobard was responsible for her fiancee’s death, and in a few other places, he does feel a bit guilty about those things. It’s like the louder he insists that he isn’t responsible (and he isn’t), the more secret guilt he does feel. He seems to be a bit shouty when he’s trying to distract people from his guilt. The guy keeps researching what it is Eobard did, clearly he’s feeling something about it.
