A change in hair colour! 

I want to emphasize how important it is to find a salon / hairdresser who knows what they are doing. 

Research the salon

Find out what their reputation is

Look at their portfolio

I know so many women who choose cost over quality (me included) when it comes to hair. 

I have gone to multiple basements, driven over an hour and penny pinched by going to random local salons in the mall. Every hair revealing is me convincing myself it looks great but when I get home, I’m in tears. Now, I am not bashing small businesses or in-home salon owners but there are people out there that don’t know how to deal with stubborn, black, pin-straight asian hair. And I have a long record to prove this. 

I went to an asian owned hair salon in Toronto and man, my hair just keeps getting better and better as it grows out. I do have to do the occasional toning (purple shampoo or Revlon Colour Creme if I want to play with colour, which I will post at a later date what products I use!

I’ve never been so happy with how my hair has turned out and it only took ... what? 10 years to find the right salon? lol! Here’s a before and after:

If you don’t do this you need to start! There is so much more product in these tubes that just won’t squeeze out. If you’re thinking it will dry out, it really doesn’t. BUT you can also get those snack size zip-lock baggies to double seal if you think you need to.
