IOS5 & Gevey Sim
Today's Post is about how to use your gevey sim on IOS5,
I upgraded my iPhone4 from 4.3.5 to IOS5 on thursday, and had the shock of my life, Nothing worked, YES!!!,
I fell in love with all the features in IOS5, that i was hooked, but then my gevey sim didn't work!
After 24hrs, without Phone, or sms, i got angry and decided to take matters into my own hands, then just then, the iPhone Dev Team, released REDSNOW and UltraSn0w. And i said ALAS!! we can now get IOS5 to work unlocked, but then another disappointment, because, UltraSn0w didn't come with any new baseband unlock. Poor Me!
So i did, what i had to do;
Downgraded IOS5 to 4.3.3, which also downgraded baseband 4.10.08 to 4.10.01, which makes gevey sim work!
Using Redsnow, to preserve my baseband, i upgrade just the main OS without Baseband updating.
Then, put my sim (AIRTEL-GH) with GEVEY SIM into the iPhone4.
Then, the Gevey Sim, welcome notice came up, Tapped on Accept, then next came, No Signal.
Opened up the dialer screen, Dialed, 112 after 2 seconds hanged up.
Went into Settings, toggled airplane mode OFF, then notification, NO SIM, then toggled back ON again, another notification, INVALID SIM, then toggled off again (AIRPLANE MODE).
After the Notification, toggled ON AIRPLANE MODE, and after a few seconds i get
