Leo, Finn, and Logan practically tumbled inside their apartment. They had their jackets wrapped tightly around them, shielding them from the rain.
“No fair.” Finn pouted. “Some people get snow, but we get rain.”
Leo laughed, and Finns smiled when he saw Logan making heart eyes at him. “I love your laugh.” Leo’s heart fluttered at the compliment, a soft blush tinting his cheeks pink.
Finn could’ve melted, he loved his life. He loved his boyfriends who were being soft with each other and who he got to see when he woke up every day. The light of his life and made all those years apart worth it.
The shucked off their jackets, hanging them in the entryway. Water from the flurry of rain outside dripped down onto the ground, landing on the mat they had underneath. It was supposed to be where they left their shoes but it works for this reason as well.
“Hey Harzy, Harz, Fishy.”
Finn stifled a laugh. “Yes, Lolo?”
“Ne m’appelle pas Lolo.” Logan glared at him, but he couldn’t fight the smile that wanted to inch onto his face.
Leo laughed again, and Logan made the same face. It was a good day. A great day, phenomenal, outstanding, terrific. He could just hear his brother’s voice muttering Damn English Major while laughing. The thought brought a bigger grin to his face.
“French,” Finn whined. He shivered. They were all still freezing from the rain outside. “You guys want any hot chocolate? I’m cold.”
Logan sighed in relief, “Thought you’d never ask.” Finn chuckled.
“Yes please, Sweetheart,” Leo replied. Hell, Finn loved that nickname. It made him so happy and warm inside. He caught himself wondering how he got the two greatest people in the world as his boyfriends, all too often.
Finn went about warming the milk on the stove, before adding the chocolate. One of his favorite things about making it was the small things they all added to their own. Leo’s always overflowed with whipped cream in marshmallows, (which results in a whipped cream mustache that he may or may not find endearing). Logan adds a decent amount of whipped cream in marshmallow but doesn’t go overboard like Leo. He does add a spoonful of white chocolate to his though. Finn layers his marshmallows with a small amount of whipped cream to top it off. When he was younger he and his family used to go to this café down the street. Those days there were some of his favorite memories and one time Alex had got him one with sprinkles. (They now always had an extra thing of sprinkles in the cabinet above the stove)
Finn topped them off for the 3 of them, handing Logan and Leo their mugs. The three shared giddy smiles, their conversations ranging from what they should get the team for Christmas, to how tall their tree would be.
Yeah, Finn thought, I love my life
