submitting to a sudden urge to reread GGAR - truly the most important work of fiction in my life (along with homestuck, lulw, and ironically enough i found GGAR in a hiveworks ad at mspaintadventures in 2014-ish). no kidding

...10 years, huh. almost half of my sane life i'm familiar with Roomie and Lillian. feels like we watched each other grow and face problems, change views, alter lifestyles.

i've already said thank you to @cloverscomics at least twice but i'll do it once again. thank you for all your work :) and seeing the author grow along with their works is a delight as well (the art in ggar and hb was good but art in ltt is astonishing)

Started reading Go Get a Roomie! again last night and I forgot how much the comic means to me. It is probably one of if not my favourite works on the internet and I get so much happiness and appreciation for life and the people around me from it. Anyway it made me want to express that so I painted this last night. @cloverscomics if you end up seeing this, thank you so much for creating it, may your dreams be sweet and your heart light with laughter

Yoga instructor

Ok, so there's this cute, sweet yoga instructor that gives such lovely advice, expert knowledge & exudes a kind aura! I admire them so much! Definitely have a crush. Definitely want to move beyond the crush & enjoy the wisdom they have to offer me (dude, possessive & entitled much?) could offer me. TO BE QUITE FRANK, they remind me of Roomie from GGAR. Honestly, I think it's uncanny in their stature, their body, their attitude, lifestyle, speech & thought. I think it's FANTASTIC!!! A real life Roomie 😁 I know I'm projecting, but I can't help myself! I love that I feel this way because it's making life fun. I want to tell them that they remind me of a fun loving character from a webcomic on the internet that I've adored since high school, but I'm not sure how to go about that & I'm not sure if they will take it as a compliment or as a weird observation/experience on their end. I think I'll tell them towards the end of our sessions together before I leave the city, so we have time to get into it if their interested in the webcomic. I think it would certainly bring about a good laugh or two.

I can‘t believe Go get a roomie has come to an end. It was one of the first queer webcomics I ever read and I kinda grew up with it. It‘s one of my all time favourites. I‘m very sad about having to say goodbye and so thankful to Chlove, who has brought all these lovely characters and stories to life. I‘m excited to see what they‘ll do next.

i can’t believe this is it. Go Get A Roomie is finished. I’ve been reading it for 5-6 years, ever since a friend showed me a panel of this comic, two girls falling in love but still mostly oblivious to it.  ive lost touch with the friend, but the comic and the characters have been with me ever since. The end of an era. 😭💙
