I've been messaging back and forth with @mohammedalanqer after he shared his fundraiser with me, and very quickly into our conversation I offered to draw a comic about him to help boost his gofundme. he was incredibly excited about the idea and shared so many lovely pictures of his family for reference. the text is based off his story of him and his family living under constant bombardment, which you can read here.
he has been able to raise €50,403 out of €58,000, meaning he only has €7,592 left to be able to evacuate. please share this comic as much as possible so that he can reach his goal!

I have since directed my beadwork fundraiser to my friend Ibrahim’s charity campaigns, as his mutual aid team buys aid in bulk to distribute at a high volume to hundreds of families in Gaza.
Hi, I'm a queer genderfluid POC and I live with my mother, sisters, and two pets. After living with my late abusive father, we have moved out and we're trying to make ends meet, but I have been fired from two jobs recently. My current one is making us less than $500 and while my mother and I have been applying for some full time jobs, it's been difficult with the current market. Made even worse with the chilling weather and the lack of a car.
We are going in for interviews next week, but we desperately need money before February 12th. If we don't get another job soon, we will be on the streets in potentially negative weather, if it doesn't let up.

What is the Holmwood Foundation about?
Our story follows Jeremy Larkin (Sean Carlsen) and Maddie Townsend (Rebecca Root), two co-workers at the mysterious Holmwood Foundation, as they are possessed by the ghosts of Jonathan and Mina Harker, and embark on a road trip across the country in an effort to achieve their ghost's wishes: to stop Dracula once and for all.
This is a story about identity and self discovery, family loyalty and devotion, all wrapped around a nightmare of a road trip with a rejuvenating severed head, incredibly sincere Victorian ghosts, and an analogue recorder.
