Sweden tops The Global Green Economy Index 2014
A new report ranks Sweden as the number one environmentally sustainable economy in 2014 in terms of performance and in the top-three spot for perception, in other words, how sustainable the country is perceived to be. The Global Green Economy Index (GGEI) looks at how 60 countries perform in the global green economy and has since its inception in 2010, consistently ranked Sweden as a top performer.
“Besides performing well on both the economic and environmental areas of GGEI, these nations display consistent green leadership and receive global recognition for it.”
Join us next Wednesday, November 5, at the SACC New York Green Summit and listen to both Swedish and American experts discuss how we can achieve a more sustainable world.
