Does better in Extreme Vs than it does here. imo.

Honestly it's a roided up (figuratively) 00 Raiser.
Massive focus on close range combat and dealing with annoying GN Fields.
00 Seven Swords was a path just incase 00 Raiser didn't work out. And essentially be a jack of all trades of Gundam.

I actually forgot that he was a character in Gundam SEED. I almost forgot this was an episode. Gerard is the typical looking to get ahead in rank guy. So he tricks the Archangel crew saying they'll help out but instead confine the Captain and the others to room while he tries to commandeer the ship and Strike Gundam for himself. His plan was take it and kill off Ramias and the others saying that they were traitors. Get promoted and get a Warship and Gundam out of it.
Unfortunately for him. Mu La Flaga had Kira put a lock on the Gundam System OS so that nobody but Kira can access it.
Which it generally worked but Flay being the idiot (she's not a bitch yet) doesn't read the room and outs Kira as a Coordinator. So Gerard forces Kira to unlock the OS. Thankfully at the same time. ZAFT was in pursuit and used the Blitz to sneak into the base and attack it.

Gundam X - We hate Newtypes kinda, but also we really shouldn't give OP weapons to just anybody.
Gundam SEED - Space Racism.
Gundam 00 - Unify the world with war so they can fight the spaghetti monster that's coming in like 10 or so years.
∀ Gundam - We stupidly made gundam too OP and almost destroyed the world. So we should do it again.
Gundam IBO - Grant Mars independence.
Gundam AGE - Aliens attack space
G Gundam - Wrestling but it's Gundam
Gundam Build - Building Models is cool and we fight with them.
