Classic ghetto nails

So I've been noticing that nail art has been becoming increasingly popular nowadays. Intricate designs, bold colors, 3D designs, and longer nails in general can now be seen everywhere from fashion blogs and magazine spreads to the woman sitting in the salon chair next to you. What I have also noticed just like every thing else that has gone main stream is this art was once only seen within the Black and Hispanic community. Ironically, the elaborate designs that were first worn by those from that background were seen as "ghetto", "unattractive", and "trashy. Now all of a sudden it is seen as "hip", "stylish", "fun", and "creative". Now you have non-poc wearing the designs and being praised instead of critiqued. You also have fashion blogs dubbing this the "hip new thing" while is been around since the late 80's..
