She’s cute I guess
Symbolism attacked me.
So this drawing features Ghirahim looking somewhat subdued, with Demise’s right hand on his chest (held there by Ghirahim’s right hand), Ganondorf’s left hand more towards Ghirahim’s neck (his arm being touched by Ghirahim’s left hand), and Zant’s right hand holding and studying the strand of pearls Ghirahim is wearing (Ghirahim doesn’t touch his hand, he doesn’t even acknowledge it).
Now, I’m crazy, so there’s a lot of symbolism.
Demise and Zant using their right hands vs Ganondorf using his left, Ganondorf doesn’t have the best of intentions compared to Demise and Zant, Ganondorf is what Ghirahim knows intellectually is Demise in some form, and thus goes to follow him since Demise isn’t there.
Ganondorf also could theoretically choke Ghirahim easily from this position, but he’s more interested in being above Ghirahim and sapping Ghirahim’s thoughts to use them, while Ghirahim is devoted to a nearly hopeless level.
Demise has his hand on Ghirahim’s chest, over his heart and where the soul core is hidden. He holds Ghirahim’s heart in his hand, and Ghirahim wants his heart to be in Demise’s hand. (His hand is only in that position because my version of Demise absolutely places Ghirahim as a priority over himself in many situations because of how I write him.)
While Zant is not quite touching him in any meaningful way, he is using the pearls as a reassurance to himself because he gave them to Ghirahim. Ghirahim is a comforting weight in his hand for him. And Ghirahim is letting him do that, because he truly doesn’t mind and Zant views them as equals.
This is also an indication of Ghirahim offering his hilt to Demise and Ganondorf and (technically in my writing and with a clearer boundary on ‘you don’t get to swing me around like a crazy person’) Zant.
But Zant never took the hilt, he preferred the person and spending time.
Ganondorf took the hilt only as a last resort and did so forcefully because he preferred to have another fighter instead of a weapon.
And Demise understood the amount of trust and love that it took Ghirahim to do that in my writing, so he took the hilt respectfully since he got Ghirahim after Ghirahim was already traumatized.
This was a lot funnier in my head
To any OOT GhiraGanon shippers out there.. it's a lonely world out here
A sword surrounded by his master's creepy hands
He heard it. He felt it. That rumble of the earth... Oh, he knew it very well. He could feel the evil reverberating on the floor, on the walls, in the air... He could feel it perfectly.
And he also felt something else. An extension of that evil spreading everywhere... Without a doubt, it was the work of his master, who longed to spread his power throughout the kingdom. His need to meet with him increased considerably with that oppresive atmosphere that was beginning to form everywhere... Until something distracted him. A black and reddish puddle formed next to him. Was it him?! Had his master come to him as soon as he regained his power?! Ooohh, finally, after millennia of waiting, his beloved master had...
His thoughts were abruptly interrupted by an ominous sensation followed by horrible screams. What was that? His master did not make those sounds... And despite feeling his essence, that presence was not the powerful king that wielded him in battle. What was... ?
AH!
A strange sensation ran through him. It seemed as if his energy was being absorbed... His energy! How was he going to present himself to his master if they drained him of his vigor? He wouldn't want a useless sword incapable of inflicting the slightest damage!
However, that anger dissipated when he noticed that the drainage left a horrible pain in his core... A... Terrible and pleasurable pain. Oh, so it was indeed his master. Or a part of him. Therefore, he didn't put up any resistance. If his master wanted to rip his strength from him, it would be for some good reason. Yes... One that was compensated with that delicious suffering.
"Oh, master... How I long for you to come in person to claim me from this abandoned and sealed place" a metallic moan escaped from him. "I will be waiting for you... Your faithful servant has waited for this return for so long... I do not mind waiting a bit more, and while I do so, I will continue to give you my valuable energy"
The days passed and the spirit that inhabited that sword regularly felt that sensation of pain... He was curious to see what exactly was causing it. But as long as he was inside his blade, he couldn't achieve it. So on one occasion, before that began again, he regained enough consciousness to peer into the world through the edge of his blade... And then that overwhelming sensation returned, the pain returned... The black and reddish puddle was there again. Oohh, its colours matched the weapons he summoned. It even matched himself.
And at that moment, something appeared that he hadn't seen until then. Long, dark appendages emerged from the puddle. It was strange... They looked like hands. Creepy hands. Hands that, when they saw him, began to approach with their palms open in his direction. Showing that eye full of fury that they carried inside.
And what was his magnificent surprise when he noticed how one of them closed around his hilt... And how that wonderful pain ran through him once again, this time even more intense.
A thousand lewd sounds mixed with the hands' screams in that sinister scene that gave the impression of being a macabre ritual between master and servant. A ritual that pleased both equally as they felt the effects it had on each of them...
