For ghost asher....what are you and white doing now?
*White jumps from a rock and spins mid air before clamping down hard on a passing bird’s wing... She lands gracefully on her feet jerking their head to the right and silencing the ear splitting squawks coming from the prey. Ghost!Asher floats nearby looking worriedly at White... Their ears twitch...*
G!Asher: “...I think she still needs some time to process what just happened... She does it by hunting... Thank goodness it’s nothing too extreme...”
*White walks up to them dropping the carcass at their feet in a pile of other small rodents and woodland animals... G!Asher doesn’t say anything to her, but smiles...*
Asher: Nice catch...
*White sighs keeping her gaze to the ground and then slowly sits down... It’s silent for a moment before she looks up and speaks up for the first time in a quiet voice...*
White: Why did you try to find your way back?...
Asher: ... White...
White: We couldn’t save you!... Why would you want to come back for the likes of... me?
*Asher blinks looking flabbergasted at White... They float forward and try to place a paw on their shoulder, but they phase through her... Asher growls, but keeps their paw somewhat on her as they respond severely...*
Asher: Why? Because you’re worth coming back to! Your worth wandering a desolate plane for god knows how long! Your worth every moment of being with you since I found out... who you are... Who you really are... to me... And so is everyone else!
*White looks down sadly... Asher continues...*
Asher: You, Lavender, Crystal, Killua, Ellie, Sparkie, Bailey... and so many others... I’ve lived my whole life thinking that I didn’t have any other family... But then... all of you... became mine.
*Asher tilts their head and uses their wing, brushes away a bit of White’s tears... White steps forward and brushes their head against Asher’s cheek...*
White: ... What are we going to do now?
Asher: Anything you want to do... I’m not going anywhere... And even if I do... I’ll find my way back to you... all of you...
