Ghost File: Gastly

Ghost File: Swing Ghost (Alternate)
Do not confuse the Swing Ghost from the last Ghost File with this other type of Swing Ghost. Although both are adorable, this type of Swing Ghost is thus named because it loves swing music, not because it loves to play on the swings. Scrambling the two will get you laughed out of Investighostion conferences. Or worse, you will have a lousy day at the ghost sock hop.
Ghost File: Swing Ghost
Have you ever wondered why a swing keeps moving even when you get off of it? Scientists will tell you that the correct answer is inertia, but investighostors like myself have proven the correct answer is actually adorable, invisible ghosts that love fun.
Ghost File: Ghost in the Shell
This ghost is basically like a clam, except it is a ghost. I don't know why people made such a big deal about it.
Ghost Story: Investigating the Mysterious Noises
Over the past month, I had been hearing strange, alien noises that emanated from my closet. It sounded like this: "BREEEEEEEEP."
Closets are a popular dwelling for ghosts and monsters, so I knew that the only answer was that my domicile was haunted.
As you could probably imagine, I was thrilled.
I investigated my closet thoroughly, and found little more than old Investighostion hats and tweed jackets. However, after a little more snooping, I found this:
As I picked it up, it beeped again. Clearly, there is a ghost living inside of this mysterious device. A ghost that communicates not through spooky howls, but through beeps.
I have dubbed this being the TIGER ELECTRONICS GHOST. He is the most horrifying spirit I have ever had the pleasure to name.
Ghost File: Mariner Ghost
As you can imagine, Mariner Ghosts frequently haunt seasides, especially if they've died on the seaside.
Above, see a photo I took of a spooky inlet, where one might find such a being.
My colleague Samuel Coleridge once wrote a great deal on this subject. He was an okay Investighostor and a decent poet, but really bad at being our designated driver at ghost parties.
Ghost File: Dance Ghost
Dance Ghost is a close personal ghost friend of mine. He loves to dance, and he also loves to gossip, but he'll only share his secrets with you if you do a dance for him.
I don't have the heart to explain to him that this is not what 1920s gangsters did.
Ghost File: Ghosts, Generally
Ghosts come in many shapes and sizes. This makes them an ideal subject for a blog, because at times, it may feel like I am making up examples of them as I go along.
I assure you, I am not. Ghosts are real. That illustration proves it.
