I have a ghost heart, it feels for things it has not lived.

As a fanfic reader and writer, I can find no other way to describe it. It's loving, mourning, hating characters from books, movies, shows, and other forms of entertainment. It's falling too deep into a fandom, yearning for a world that doesn't and could never exist. Ghost worlds, ghost people that my ghost heart yearns for. Maybe just because I'm alone, or maybe because I want to feel something real life can't offer.

Like a scarecrow in an empty field, scaring nothing and protecting nothing. An illusion. An escape, too. Another reason for pain. But it's part of who I am, probably part of who I'll always be.

And anyway, I'm happy in my ghost worlds with ghost characters. My ghost heart is happy.

hoo boy, we're up to 19 pages!!!

To be fair, 5 of those pages are devoted to classes, and 3 are devoted "races." Huh that's so weird. Why did I put "races" in quotations like that. Guess You'll just have to read it an find out.

I do want to spend some time trimming some fat and consolidating my verbiage. I've done a bit of that already, but I've left the first 6 pages i types largely unchanged and they could probably use some edits...
