Ahhh wonderful spoilers... it hurts to just think about it.... I am sorry I have spoiled myself with the latest chapter because it keeps poppin’ on my feed... but regardless I felt something like that was coming.... (I have not read the manga...) That is why I shouldn’t grow attached to characters I swear.... Just a little self insert on the matter , felt like I needed to tbh... I was going to draw it regardless... but I didn’t expect the first drawing of Cards to be so....sad... ; __; …. The style turned out so nice doe... I fking adore it <33. Thank you precious one. My own tribute post to the #HonorKazukiTakahashi2025 challenge that I hosted.
I've never drawn dragons in my life so I did my best for this one! To be fair I was kind of struggling to get things across as I wanted until this hit just right.
I really can't believe that 3 years have already passed since the great Takahashi sensei has passed.... but in reality he is always with us! Through the card game , through all the fans , through all of the art , through every mention of Yu-Gi-Oh! till this day. For me he never left because we are here to keep his spirit alive , he is immortal!!!
So one big thank you Kazuki Takahashi for the most amazing childhood.
because "It's time to duel!!!".
