"i'm right by your side. always"
Experimenting with styles again, this one is cute but I don't think I will stick with it. There was another request for ghosts and babies so I decided to kill two birds with one stone and do these two cuties with marco as a ghost.
Missing You
I miss my best friend.
I’ve been thinking a lot lately. I mean, I guess I have a lot of time now. I help people out and try to remain happy for everyone, but…well, I still feel the longing for someone to be able to talk to.
Sure, there are those who I see again, or who go about as I do, guarding the people they love, but it’s not the same. It’s not the same as having that person you’re most connected to by your side, fighting together, facing the world head on with no regrets. It’s not the same, not sharing secrets with someone and trusting them not to tell, for those long and painful talks over the years of pasts and presents, for the dreams of the future rambled in the late hours, of how life would be good, of how happiness would be found.
There is no shoulder for me to cry on. There is no one for me to connect with. I haven’t laughed in ages, but I’ve cried so many nights. I can see him moving through life without me, and it’s good. He has new friends, some of the old have filled in my spot, I’ve been replaced by people who can show him good things in life, but how can I not want to be a part of it? How can I detach myself from him, be done with him, and move on? I can’t. My heart’s too invested, no matter how many times it’s cut from my chest, no matter the fights we had or conflicts we faced, no matter the agony I feel of watching him forgetting me, I can’t let go.
Though I wish to move on, my heart hurts too much to walk into the light. But maybe that’s what I must do. Maybe this must end. Maybe I have to leave him forever this time, just as he doesn’t look back. Maybe it’s time to finally be forgotten and fade into the light.
Tears never feel right as a ghost, but they still taste like salt. For once, I wouldn’t mind Armin throwing spice drops through me, just to taste the smoke and ash again. Or just to have a friend.
ghost!marco and titan!marco make me happy
Got a request for you, got any supernatural!au fics (either with the cw series or just supernatural in general)? Also, this blog is genius!
Thank you very much for your kind words, and I hope to help more but it’s hard when I’m not totally sure what everyone would like to see.
There were, saddly, no crossovers with the show specifically, I can tag it unfilled for that part but I found a few for the other part. Ghost AUs aren’t an uncommon idea for this pair. c:
Ghost Story
Summary: My name is Jean Kirschtein, and I have a shit job. I’m basically a garbage man. And by ‘garbage’ I mean ‘very angry dead people.’ I guess it has its perks sometimes, though; I get to meet all kinds of interesting people.
Keep That Breathless Charm
Summary: Jean knew that this whole working thing could have its small surprises, but he doesn’t think that the job description ever called for him meeting an attractive ghost boy with a face full of freckles and a taste for classic novels.
Reach For the Moon
Summary: Jean Kirschtein is a wannabe musician fresh out of high school and looking to start a new life, and Marco Bodt is the last person he expected to have as a roommate. Marco is a musician in his own right, a talented singer looking for new opportunties, but there’s something about him and his hidden stash of candles and Ouija boards that makes Jean inwardly squirm. As the ill-matched pair grows more intimate than either of them anticipated, Jean begins to suspect that something is amiss, and Marco is the only one who truly holds the key to the mysteries of Jean’s tragic and silenced past.
Anya's Ghost is a FANTASTIC graphic novel by Vera Brosgol about a teenaged girl who meets a cute little ghost who isn't who she seems. I highly recommend it. When i was drawing some JeanMarco feels involving the bones i remembered this comic because Emily is bound to her bones and then I internally screamed GHOST MARCO and here we are now. I'm fix it up in the morning.
