More Danny I guess
(no I am not gonna proof read this or correct grammar or spelling if my autocorrect doesn't fix it :)
Ghosts are reflections of people's true desires, ambissions, "obsessions and passions from when they were alive and are phisically shaped by their last living moments.
In Danny's case he was obsessed with space and NASA, and was an incredibly smart kid, with the technical skills to back it up
(from helping his parents in the lab or by just pure curiosity and passion)
But dies tragically in the portal with his 2 new friends from school who he has no idea if they're OK.
Like if Danny realized the portal is unstable as it turns on with him in it, from a technical standpoint there's usually a massive backlash in return, for all Danny knows in this moment his friends, sister and parents may all be killed in the explosion or worse from the portal.
So of course his last moments would be thinking I wanted to protect my friends from this. Which leads to Danny's situation where he doesn't die right so gets his obsessions a little mixed.
Like if he fully died Id reckon hed probably go straight to nocturne as a being literally made of stars, or have his own lair being a rocket that goes around the ghost zone.
But instead of that his obsession latches onto his final thoughts of protection, which shapes Danny's ghost into not necessarily what he would truly want. But what the ghost zone as a whole needs him to be.
Because let's be honest the amount of ghosts that harass Danny, there needs to be someone to keep them in check and from harming the humans in Amity Park from his perspective
But for the other ghosts they see this new ghosting struggling to ballance his obsession so they help him out.
This only becomes an issue later when the Fentons and GIW start to go after the ghosts, and Danny then has to protect the ghosts from the humans
I think Clockwork's interference as well is to help Danny grow as a better person and ghost. As well as the Fanon that as he defeated Parah Dark he's the next ghost King so really clockwork is just trying to help out as well.
I could add an interesting spin on Vlad that his ghost half has poisoned his obsession with the Proto Portal being incomplete and so majorly messed his obsessions up, and it'd be funny to see him all of a sudden start to get hounded by ghost doctors who just want to sort that mess out
But vlad having trauma associated with hospitals (being left in one to suffer alone for years, and that being the GIW's fault) he hates hospital staff. So just flies as fast as he can away when they try to get him lol.
And he eventually got sorted out thatd be really awkward and he's be in a lot of ghost therapy to deal with his issues being falsified by a faulty core and obsession, which now being fixed he can see why he was an issue.
Danny bumps into vlad after he's called for a checkup by Frostbite and sees vlad (who's ghost form has changed again so he doesn't recognise him till he tries to apologise and explain) and is just confused and slightly concerned and relieved at this new Vlad who's seemed to have turned over a new leaf.
I might continue this plot point later but for now I've ran out of ideas or at least have no ideas without copying other people's :)
