I can’t make it through a single horror movie.

The last time I watched one, I was only a teenager and I spent the next three days (and nights) with all of the lights on in my house. But ironically, I love ghosts.

While all the cool kids were out partying in college, my friends and I would sit down with a bottle of wine and watch “Ghost Adventures.” Something about the absurdity of yelling at every sound in a creaky old house is exciting, and the possibility that they could come across something truly paranormal just one time was intoxicating (or maybe that was just the wine). But nothing they showed on TV ever matched the level of creepy in the following video.

This ghostly hotel seems normal until all of a sudden, the chairs and tables begin flying at the woman who is looking at her cell phone.

These Ghost Hunters Triggered The Rage Of A Restless Spirit

When it comes to ghost hunting, the most interesting spirits to track down are the angry ones. Sure, they might be capable of injuring you, but they also tend to be the most active. Take, for example, this footage from the 3 Girls In The Dark paranormal team. The group explored the famous Villisca Murder House in Iowa late last year and captured some bizarre footage.

In 1912, the house was the site of a brutal murder that left all six members of the Moore family and their two young guests dead. It was after midnight when one member of the team recited the phrase that evidently inspired Reverend Lyn George Kelly to commit the murders. After the women said the phrase aloud, one of their cameras started shaking violently. That ghost wanted nothing to do with being taunted by the living.

It’s worth noting that even though Kelly confessed to the murders in 1917, he was never actually convicted. His case went to court twice, and both times, he was acquitted. The murders remain officially unsolved to this day.

What is it with ghosts haunting bars? It seems like half of the ghost stories I read about are set in bars and pubs. Perhaps it has something to do with bars being places of life, or maybe spirits are drawn to these haunts because of the sadness that drives people to barstools around the world.

While it’s a common paranormal trend, it’s always terrifying. Take the footage below, for example. The owners of this bar in Moscow became concerned when they kept finding broken glass and toppled furniture every morning when they arrived at work. After they found bizarre footage on their security cameras, they called in a team of paranormal investigators to help them get some answers.

That is one unhappy ghost.
