Danny gets sweet revenge by luring vampire hunters into town with Plasmius as the target.
Now, Vlad’s not in any danger. Most anti-vampire measures aren’t effective against him. Even getting staked and/or beheaded is unpleasant, but not catastrophic.
What's really annoying is when a couple of vampire hunters start to suspect Vlad Masters is also a vampire. Then there's no escape from the scrutiny. And if it comes down to it, it's a lot harder to explain how a stake to the heart doesn't kill him as a supposed Regular Human Man.
Someone manages to get the jump on Vlad and drives a wooden stake through his chest. They’ve mistaken his ghost form as something more vampiric.
They’re horrified when it doesn’t seem to do any damage, and brace themselves for retaliation. But Vlad simply pulls the stake out and heaves a long-suffering sigh. This is the fourth time someone has at least attempted to stake him in as many months.
Vlad actually has a garlic allergy but he keeps that to himself. It’s not a deadly allergy and he’d rather risk anaphylactic shock than add any fuel to the “Ghostferatu” fire.
Danny makes a Dracula joke to Vlad, and Vlad reacts so explosively that Danny decides to spread vampire-related rumors about around Amity Park that Plasmius is a vampire.
He does it as Phantom. He thinks he’s subtle and sneaky about it: informing the public they can ward off the Wisconsin Ghost with garlic and crosses, really projects when he makes vampire puns when they fight, etc.
No one in Amity believes him. They go along with it anyway because they’re at a point where pretty much everyone likes Phantom, or at the very least recognize they owe him one. Also, Plasmius is terrible.
They shout “oh no, a vampire!” when he’s spotted, stage whisper “How is he out and about before sundown?” if he’s nearby, and the local paper even runs an article with ‘research’ on the history of “Ghostferatu” and a complete guide on protecting yourself from vampires at the bottom.
At first they don’t tell Phantom that they don’t really believe him. After a while someone lets it slip that they know, and Danny realizes he has an inside joke with the whole town. It’s twice as sweet since it’s at Vlad’s expense.
Phantom spreads a rumor that the Wisconsin Ghost can turn into a bat
Jack and Maddie catch wind of it and create a Fenton Bat House meant to trap him
