It IS emotionally manipulative. But that’s kinda the point.

Yes, and feeling a work of art (music, theatre, writing, visual arts) is trying to emotionally manipulate me is the biggest turn off for me.

It's partly why I don't like the angst genre. "Oh wow, your life's really awful and you're going to write paragraph after paragraph about it - go ahead but I'm gonna stop reading right here and find something sharp and funny with a happy ending!"

Eponine/Combeferre, summer camp

Combeferre was engrossed in detailing how to properly shoot a bow and arrow to the hordes of ten year olds that surrounded him, as Eponine watched with amusement from the sidelines. Arms crossed over her chest, she smirked when Gavroche got over excited and Combeferre calmly took the arrow he was holding away from him and went on with his demonstration. And when Combeferre finally actually shot the thing and easily got a bull’s-eye, he looked up at her expectantly—Eponine could see the need for approval, so foreign to his face—and she began to clap mockingly, but her smile was genuine—Combeferre ducked his head in embarrassment and went back to his lesson, glancing in her direction every few minutes with a small smile on his face.

my thoughts:

A+++++ perfection combeferre's just so perfect for eponine and eponine is sooo goood for combeferre and ughhhhhh

What makes me happy about them:

see above...they're just adorbs and such sweet little babies

What makes me sad about them:

nothing? perfection all around 

things done in fanfic that annoys me:

umm when it comes out as more pair the spares kind of thing than actually having them be together

things I look for in fanfic:

happiness, sweetness, and cuddles

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: 

enjolras and knowledge (eponine and combeferre respectively or enjolras for both)

My happily ever after for them:

kisses, cuddles, babies, and puppies

what is their favorite non-sexual activity:

reading together all curled up on a couch together basically one person reading two books and trading kisses between chapters
